MV Marie-Inès Liveaboard

MV Marie Ines has just been launched in June 2019. This project was imagined by its owner, who entrusted it to two young architects and Filipino engineers. This boat is adapted to be functional and pleasant to practice scuba diving, for cruises throughout the Philippines and throughout the year.

The 11 crew members will be there to welcome you with a smile and will do their best for you to spend a wonderful cruise around the waters of the Philippines.

At the first level, 8 rooms will accommodate 16 passengers. They are all equipped with private toilets, shower and individually controlled air conditioning. At the back of the boat is the dive spot with location for each diver and equipment for the whole week: locker, shower, towels and dry places for cameras, including electrical plugs for recharging. A large low platform allows to dive directly from the boat when the site is accessible. On the upper floor you can find the rest and dining area with several tables, benches and cushions. A bar is also available, with snacks, drinks and fruits at all times (included in the booking).

The kitchen and crew rooms are equipped with air conditioning.

On the top floor are the captain’s command post and his private room.

We provide all the necessary safety and navigation equipment on board, as well as a network of CCTV throughout the boat for your safety. At the rear at the same level, you can find a rest and tanning area and a magnificent 360 degree view.

This boat is equipped with 2 marine diesel engines x 185 HP with 3 tanks with a capacity of 1300 liters, 2 generators and two water tanks 10.000 liters soft, filled with a machine to desalt the sea water.

A sewage tank with a filter for all waste will be kept and deposited on the ground at the end of each stay.

Kayaks and paddles are at your disposal to enjoy breaks between dives.

Services on board
On board, the kitchen staff of Marie-Ines makes every effort to offer you a unique menu of local and international cuisine, with selected fresh products. Water, coffee and fruit juices are available at all times with a refrigerator available for guests. In case of special dietetics, the chef will answer your request as well as possible.

In order to relax or read, many places are available in the dining room or on the upper floor, behind the captain’s cabin.

On the Marie-Ines, we provide an equilibrated diet. A typical menu for the day would consist of a morning coffee or tea with seasonal fruits. Then, after the first dive, the chef would serve you a breakfast buffet with a choice of toast, eggs, pancakes, fruit salads, sausages, bacon and more. For lunch and dinner, you will have the pleasure of tasting local and international dishes. Drinks are included except the alcohol that will be charged as an extra and paid at the end of the cruise. A snack is also scheduled in the afternoon, after the third dive.

Dinghy
Marie-Ines has a flat dinghy with a 25 HP engine with a capacity of 14 people, to transport divers to and from the dive sites when it is not accessible for the boat.”

Insurance
For pleasure trips and all activities, we strongly recommend standard travel insurance covering all emergency medical expenses. For diving, any insurance covering dive injuries is mandatory. We recommend a specific diving insurance for your property from DAN Europe or DAN America, which has a worldwide network of experts. Note that Philippine law requires our clients to sign a waiver of liability.
